XERF, the non-surgical skin tightening treatment for a new generation. In the past, non-surgical radiofrequency treatments were hindered by several factors.

  • They really didn’t work. Visible results were at a minimum, and the results never really matched the investment.
  • They hurt like heck. There was nothing comfortable or soothing about these types of treatments in the past, what with prodding needles and heat energy that felt like your face was being singed.
  • They were expensive. High-cost treatment disposables and lots of time in the chair meant providers had to charge high rates to make the treatments profitable.

  • Long periods of downtime meant patients had to plan accordingly, with side effects of extreme facial redness lasting days after treatment.

XERF has changed the rules of non-surgical skin tightening. A non-invasive, structural skin-tightening treatment, Xerf uses monopolar radiofrequency (RF) energy to lift and tighten skin without needles or surgery, and without any pain. In fact, many people report the treatment actually relaxes them.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does XERF work?

The monopolar RF thermal energy is delivered simultaneously to multiple layers of the skin, which causes a temporary contraction of the existing collagen fibers. This provides immediate lifting of the skin. For long term results, the treatment also stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin over time. The result is firmer, healthier looking skin.

Does having a XERF treatment hurt?

Finally, a non-surgical skin tightening treatment that patients don’t dread sitting in the treatment chair for. In fact, most patients describe the sensation of the treatment as a calming, warm massage with just gentle tingling. Many patients actively look forward to their next treatment. The integrated cooling technology and “wave fit” pulse patterns keep the skin cool and comfortable, so much so that numbing cream and/or anesthesia aren’t necessary.

What areas can be treated with XERF?

XERF is highly versatile and can be used on the:

  • Face & Jawline: Tighten up those jowls and define the profile.
  • Eyes & Brows: Lift the brow and reduce under-eye puffiness.
  • Neck & Décolletage: Smooth out “crepey” skin and wrinkles.
  • Body: Including the abdomen, arms, and thighs for firming.

How long does a XERF session take?

Patients should expect each session to take 30-60 minutes, depending on how many areas are treated in one session.

Is there any downtime with XERF?

None. Some patients may experience mild redness and warmth immediately after treatment, but these fade within a couple hours. Patients can return to normal, everyday activities immediately.

When will I see results from XERF and how long will they last?

  • Immediate: Most patients report tighter facial skin right after treatment.
  • Long-term: As that new collagen builds, thanks to the kickstart from the treatment, the optimal results will emerge three to six months post-treatment.
  • Longevity: Results typically last 12-18 months, depending on lifestyle, age and other factors like heredity, diet, exercise, etc.

How many XERF treatments are needed for best results?

The vast majority of patients will see results after one session, but we recommend two to three initial treatments, spaced about two months apart to see optimal results. Then, in most cases, one to two maintenance sessions per year thereafter.

Who is a good candidate for XERF?

The XERF treatment is ideal for women and men with moderate skin laxity and who are seeking a non-surgical option to correct sagging, loose skin. The modality allows for patients with all skin types and tones to be treated.

What makes XERF different from other non-surgical skin tightening treatments?

The XERF is the first system to offer multifrequency monopolar RF, combining 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz frequencies to target both the superficial dermis and the deep SMAS layer. The SMAS layer (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) is the foundational layer of tissue right beneath the skin layer. The SMAS layer is key to lifting and tightening loose, sagging skin.

Leslie is amazing! Very reliable and will tell you not to pay for a procedure if she doesn't think it's for you. All my girls go to her!

Dr Leslie is fantastic. She is professional, thorough and also engaging. I would recommend her to anyone!

Leslie is a skilled practitioner with confident hand and great straightforward approach.

Besides Lesile being adorable, she is so knowledgeable, skilled, straightforward, and down to earth. She is personable and professional. Sure there are a ton of other places to get Botox, but I prefer to go to the Wrinklefairy.

I got my lips injected and am so happy with the results! I was able to get in with ease, the staff was super nice and accommodating, and I love my results! I would recommend my friends and family here! My best friend is already ready to schedule an appointment! Yay!

Leslie is the BEST!!! She will give you her honest opinion & never pressure you. I’ve had amazing results from her since day one! I’ve been seeing her for 8 years now! She is truly the Wrinkle Fairy!
